研究概述
劉教授的主要研究領域為環境工程，分離程序。目前進行之研究題目包括：
水及廢水之物理化學處理程序
1. 半導體業與光電業廢水處理與回收
2. 自半導體廢水回收磷與氟
含稀有金屬的污泥與電子廢棄物
1. 稀有金屬自電子污泥之釋出行為
2. 自電子廢棄物回收稀有金屬
