2018年5月18日參觀基隆市六堵水資源回收中心

 

選修環境工程(一)20位同學，與雙聯班選修化學工程實務的14位印尼同學，5月18日在授課劉志成教授帶領下參觀基隆市六堵水資源回收中心；該中心設有高級生物處理程序，包括調節、沉砂等前處理，一級沉澱，厭氣、缺氧、好氧反應池、二級沉澱池，以及汙泥濃縮與脫水。六堵水資源回收中心每日處理約一萬公噸工業廢水與生活汙水。感謝上水公司廠長與同仁冒著豔陽熱心講解與導覽，參加同學普遍覺得收穫豐富，而且與教室課本所學彼此印證，真是不虛此行。

 

Field Trip to Liou-Du Water Recycling and Recovery Center

        Total of 20 students of “Environmental Engineering (I)” class and 14 Double-Degree Indonesian students who are taking “Field Work” class completed a wonderful field trip to Liou-Du Water Recycling and Recovery Center in Keelung City on May 18^th. The Water Recycling and Recovery Center is equipped with tertiary treatment processes that treats industrial and municipal wastewater at the capacity of 10,000 cubic meter per day. Students had a walking tour through pretreatment units of equalization and aerated chamber, primary clarifier, secondary units including anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic tanks, secondary clarifier, as well as sludge thickening and dewatering. We are truly grateful for the guided tour as provided by the Manager and his colleagues. It was a fruitful trip and students had an impressive experience.
